class jevois::OutputFrame return an error

0 votes

After installing SDK on ubuntu 17.10 I was trying to compile for the first time but I get the folwing error:

jevoisbase/src/Modules/Convert/Convert.C:116:16: error: ‘class jevois::OutputFrame’ has no member named ‘sendCv’; did you mean ‘send’?
       outframe.sendCv(imgbgr, quality::get());

How I can compile for first time without error?

17.10 is no longer supported because support from ubuntu will end in july, so you will not be able to get all the dependencies. Now if you still want to use it, you are getting jevois 1.8.0 from our server but sendCv() was introduced in 1.8.1. Not a big problem but you need to follow the compile instructions exactly and in order:

1 get latest  jevois source from github

2 rebuild-host.sh in jevois

3 rebuild-platform.sh in jevois

4 get latest jevoisbase from github

5 rebuild-host.sh in jevoisbase

6 rebuild-platform.sh --staging in jevoisbase

7 you are now all updated and ready for jevois-flash-card
