Active infrared lightning?

Is JeVois camera sensitive for IR light, does it work with IR at all?

I would like to build active infrared, unseen by the human eye, LED-lamp to my robot to be used when navigating camera in darker enviroments.

Original camera specs were that it had an IR filter.

Filter can usually be removed (and warranty void). I removed one from Nexus 5 to take infrared pictures, it worked nice but I also dropped the phone in the lake.
