when i check device manger under imaging devices i get an error on JeVois-A33 Video Camera

which version of Windows? JeVois has 3 devices in one:

- video camera

- serial-over-USB port (ACM CDC COM port)

- virtual USB flash drive

Here, with Windows 7, 8, 10, the camera device is always detected with no problem. Can you try a regular USB webcam and see whether that works on your computer?

On Windows 7 and some Windows 8, you need a driver for the ACM CDC COM port, see here:
