Jevois Camera not detected by Windows

0 votes
I just bought a new Jevois Camera and flashed the microSD card with latest 1.14.0 image. When I connect the camera with sd card inserted it is not recognized by my windows at all. I tried reflashing the sdcard and also made sure the card was okay but now couldnot understand the reason why it isnt working.

The Light on camera blinks to orange initially for 1-2 sec and then is constant green throughout the time.

Nothing is detected on device manager as well

Please Help

The orange flash is good news, it indicates that the camera correctly boots up, the SD card is correctly inserted, etc. After the LED flashes orange briefly, it should turn solid orange after a few seconds and stay solid orange. If that is not happening, maybe try:

1) maybe your computer is not providing enough power to the USB port. Please try a USB 3.0 port, and have a look there:

2) we have received a few cases of bad USB cables. Do you have any other mini-USB cable that you could try? Maybe from an external hard-drive?

Otherwise, please email us at jevoisinc@gmail.com and we can arrange a replacement.
