hand writing recognition

0 votes
Hello,

I recently stumbled on JeVois and I would like to know whether I could adapt it for my needs. Currently we process lots of different forms manually. We look at the forms and transcribe the users responses into a spreadsheet. Due to various variations in human hand writings , we've had to rely on people identifying and guessing the correct letters in some cases.

I would like to find out if JeVois could do a better job at identifying the hand writings , learn by itself or through minimal human intervention about new hand writings not previously encountered. Detect forms, questions and answers.

Thank you

It's not going to help you with your problem, I'm afraid. Jevois is a hardware platform for running computer vision applications, it doesn't supply those applications itself apart from some trivial demos.

Thank you. I understand your point but however, my intention is to find out if JeVois has the capability to detect the hand writings. I know its an hardware and one would need to write the required software.

So better still does JeVois and its existing algorithms support efficient hand writing recognition ? Thank you
