Fan is noisy, high-vibration. Should it be ?

Hi - just received my unit, the fan is pretty noisy, enough to be a real problem for our applications.

It actually seems like a lot more vibration than I would expect from a tiny fan. Is it possible that I have a physically faulty fan ?

OK, thanks. I'll need to do something about that. Can you recommend a quieter (even if less powerful) fan ? I saw mention of a 10k rpm fan elsewhere in the forum.
So faast :D. No I don't know any solutions for this problem.
I removed and installed a 10k rpm with same dimension from ebay. Its now silent
yes, you want a 5V fan of type 2506 (25x25x6 mm), try to aim for at least 2cfm of airflow. You can get some on ebay. With 10k rpm you might be able to hit thermal trip at 75C if you run the burntest (the CPU will then slow down to 1.2GHz) but you might be fine in many other situations.
Great, thanks!
