You will not cure a common cold directly, however your body typically creates resistance to any cold virus within a couple of days. We call that cured by your very own immune response!

Human papilloma virus is similar in that human papilloma virus is simply an additional viral infection. Therefore you could most likely develop resistance to HPV virus. However, HPV is better at evading your body's immune system compared to the cold infections. Therefore you have to persist harder to acquire resistance to HPV virus.
