About: Differences were extensive, between what ethnographers saw in the 19th century and also what Native peoples performed in the 9th or 10th or 11th centuries. For the old past, Pueblo ethnography is not enough as well as indeed might not also be essential-- for some inquiries, ethnography does more harm than great.
