People with schizophrenia may seem like they have lost touch with truth and can experience hallucinations, deceptions, and disorganized thinking, and these signs can be extremely disabling. Trauma knows no borders. It affects individuals of every background, ethnic culture, socioeconomic status, age, gender, sexual orientation, and so on. Research study has revealed that distressing experiences are associated with both behavioral and physical health conditions, especially trauma that occurs during childhood.
